Te Tai Tokerau was postponed due to Michael being heavily involved with the Whangārei Hospital carpark fire. We are hoping to fit it in before the end of the year.
His info on fire prevention is extremely valuable with the start of a dry summer. The blaze that damaged / destroyed dozens of cars is believed to have been caused by a hot exhaust pipe that ignited long grass nearby. So, it’s not only rural properties that are vulnerable to destruction by fire - this event has alerted people to other ways that fire can start anywhere....
