On Saturday 22nd June Volunteering Northland held their annual Volunteer Fair in Whangārei Library.
It was a wonderful event, show casing organisations that only run effectively because of their volunteers!
Whangārei Timebank Co-ordinator, Janey, was there together with Bronte from Ecosolutions. We had a steady stream of interested individuals drop by our stall to learn about our mahi.
It was a fruitful networking event for us with other volunteer-based organisations in Whangārei.
Thank you to Timebank member Fay who helps organise the monthly Whangārei Crop Swap, for bringing along some citrus, sprouting white sapote tree seeds and yakon tubers to give away!
