Kaitaia Timebank Social & 'GET READY' Zombie Apocalypse Workshops

Get ready to laugh, learn, and level up your survival skills at our upcoming Timebank Social — it’s a Zombie Apocalypse themed event, so bring your best undead energy (and outfits)!

Whether you’re prepping for the end of the world or just want to be more self-reliant, these practical mini-workshops will have you ready for anything. The workshops will be rolling all day from 11am to 3pm so pop in whenever you can between those times and learn something new!

• Meat Preserving – What to do with a whole animal when the fridge goes down? Learn traditional techniques to keep protein on the table.

  
  

• First Aid Basics – From cuts to chaos, get confident with essential first-aid skills for crisis situations.

  
  

• Chainsaw Safety – Learn how to use and maintain your chainsaw safely. Essential for clearing debris — or zombies.

  
  

• Emergency Toilets – No flush? No problem. Discover low-tech loo solutions to keep things hygienic when the water stops running.
