When Leela joined Timebank in Whangārei in April, local co-ordinator, Janey, immediately put her in touch with new member, Harley who offers gardening help.
Using his own initiative he started organising the outside area at Leela’s house – tidying up and gardening.
The knock-on effect has been that Harley’s de-cluttering has inspired Leela to get started on a long-term project instead of procrastinating!
Harley accrues Timecredits and Leela no longer feels overwhelmed by the size of her project.
