This month Tai Tokerau Timebank in Whangārei and Ecosolutions are partnering to bring you Green Drinks in Raumanga Community Gardens! (Members of TTT).

Soil food web consultant and garden volunteer Tom Nixon, at the Gardens together with Judy Keats (Ecosolutions) will demonstrate the bio-complete composting process, developed by Dr Elaine Ingham.

Raumanga Community Garden is more than a garden, it’s a place where community grows. Every week, you’ll find tamariki from Manaia View School rolling up their sleeves alongside volunteers of all ages, learning to grow, harvest, prepare, and share fresh kai, hosted with warmth and generosity by garden lead Pam Locke.

With compost bins, worm farms, and food sustainability at its core, Raumanga is a hands-on hub for environmental learning, connection, and contribution
