Come along and hear from Julie Luiten about the wonderful community support offered by The Whare Manaakitanga (the House of Love & Kindness) in Kamo. Otherwise known as the Clothing Shed, Book Barn and Aroha Gardens – this wonderful group of community focused projects is an Organisational Member of Tai Tokerau Timebank in Whangārei.

They offer FREE services, clothing, household items, food etc to those in need.

Donations of any sort are key to the success of these projects, as is the big team of loyal volunteers who support this incredibly important cause. Several Timebank members are regular volunteers here, earning time credits for the hours they spend helping. There’s always room for more, so come along tonight to hear how you could get involved in the fun!
