About the event

As Spring draws nearer, this Vision Boarding Workshop gives you the opportunity to review and renew your dreams and plans. To take some time out for yourself and make a Vision Board for the coming year.

Affirming your goals - in a visual and physical way - assists with bringing your energy into alignment with the energy vibration of your goals. A case of Quantum Physics meets Metaphysics!

Tracey Willms Deane, a local visual artist and adult education teacher, makes Vision Boarding lots of fun, spirit-full, and easy, with guidance along the way if you get stuck. She will guide you through a variety of options for manifesting your ideas and goals from ‘thought-forms’ into the visual world of form.

The workshop will also include suggestions and tips for different types of vision boards, eg: single focus, or many facets of life, as well as techniques to make vision boards at home using upcycled materials.

Prior to the workshop, we will email you with suggestions for ways to tap into specific areas you'd like to focus on for yourself, allowing your “dreamer mind” to play with them before the day! All materials will be provided for this workshop.

Tracey is a certified 'Heal Your Life' workshop leader and has enjoyed leading many of these Vision Board workshops over the years. Her sculptural, printmaking and interactive works have been on show at many Quarry Arts Centre events as well as The Geoff Wilson Gallery, Printapalooza, PlantLab, Waitakaruru Sculpture Trail and the Kaipara Coast Sculpture Trail. She has led workshops at Te Kowhai Print Trust, The Quarry Arts Centre, Manawatu Polytech and NorthTec as well as at various Festivals around Northland. She was the owner of Tuatara Design Store, Bank Street from 2012 – 2019.

Cost: 3 timecredits for members, koha for non-members
