Tiaki Taiao vision statement

Tai Tokerau Timebank is a programme of Te Pokapū Tiaki Taiao O Te Tai Tokerau Trust (more commonly known as Tiaki Taiao) who are holding their AGM online Wednesday 18th September 2024. All Timebank members are welcome, and have voting rights if they register to do so by emailing info@ecocentre.co.nz beforehand. Doing so will also ensure that you get sent the link and supporting documentation.

If you are interested in becoming a trustee do say so ahead of time! Tiaki Taiao is approaching 25 years of work in the community of Te Hiku. Since Tai Tokerau Timebank became more geographically widespread so has the work of the Trust. Programmes currently under the Trust include the EcoCentre in Kaitāia, the upcycling and workshop space of Anō Anō next door to it, Māra Kai O Te Hapori around the corner on Puckey Avenue, and Te Hiku 0 Waste which includes KaiCycle compostables collection scheme around town.

Tiaki Taiao partners with Ecosolutions and Para Kore on larger waste minimisation projects with several large and exciting grant applications in process.
