About the event
Jules Stacey will be focusing on utilising weeds/herbs in our garden that can be used for multiple health benefits. Kawakawa/borage/Nettle/Lavendar/Dandelion/Chickweed.
Jules will demonstrate making comfrey poulice, an anti-inflammatory cast used for injuries, thyme cough medicine, chickweed eczema cream and a natural skin balm...to name a few!
Timebankers will be able to take home their own products if they wish.
It’ll be a $2 gold coin donation and folk to bring along their own jars, and comfrey and kawakawa if they have it in abundance in their garden.

Jules wants to hold multiple workshops, in whatever folk are interested in. Jules is a qualified chef and hopes to host a Food is Medicine workshop in 2024 as well. Focusing on edible herbs and incorporating healthy ingredients into everyday cooking. Contact Caryl if this sounds like something you'd be keen in coming along to!
