We did it!! We managed to build the He Awhi Rito community raised beds before the Christmas deadline for funders! It was tight, but with help from Timebankers and volunteers from the wider community we finished 2 of the 4 beds.
Donated lettuce and beetroot seedlings were planted out and will be watered by our neighbour over the holiday.
In the new year we’ll be finishing the rest of the boxes and planting them out with donated seedlings and seeds.
